Smoke’ Risin’ is a rare male harmony Soul group album from 1976. The album has been in demand and expensive for many years. Amongst the highlights are the excellent modern soul dancers ‘I’m So Glad You Came along’ and ‘Cream Of The Crop’. There are also some good string laden uptempo tracks ‘ You Will Always be a Part Of me’, ‘Have I Really Lost You’ and ‘Now You’re Gone’ plus some good ballads especially ‘Don’t Take Your Love (Away From Me) which builds tempo towards the end when it swings along. This is another strong mid 70’s Soul harmony album thankfully reissued by P-Vine in Japan available in limited quantities.
