This 1978 album simply entitled ‘Ross’ (not to be confused with an album of the same name released in 1983) is a mixed compilation and studio album that features four ‘newer’ (in 1978) recordings and five older recordings (from 71 – 75) that were remixed and/or extended by Russ Terrana, Motown’s inhouse producer. Tracks included the Ashford and Simpson penned “What You Gave Me”, the disco of ‘Lovin’ Livin’ and Givin’and the funky ‘You Were The One’. There’s an extended remix of ‘Reach Out I’ll Be There’, while ‘Together’, ‘To Love Again’ and ‘Sorry Doesn’t Always Make It Right’ are also reworked from earlier versions.
