1975 Norman Connors album includes his first crossover soul hit the classic ‘Valentine Love’ ft Jean Carn and Michael Henderson. Jean is also featured on ‘Dindi’ and ‘Skin Diver’. ‘Akia’ is a bass propelled jazz funk instrumental groove and there is a good version of Herbie Hancock’s ‘Maiden Voyage’
