Stephanie McKay makes a welcome return after a long break with an interesting 5 track EP. ‘Quietly’ is a 6 ½ minute atmospheric Synth laden down tempo track, that builds to crescendo. ’Song in my heart’ has a more acoustic semi funky groove.. ‘Vahana’ is a highlight and has an interesting and more complex Funky and Jazzy rhythm pattern, it also features Jacques Schwarz-Bart on sax. ‘Shine’ has an almost Southern feel to it and is another highlight.
