Old school vibes abound on this six track EP that tips a wink to Stevie in the title, the tough, funky opener ‘Wibble Wobble’ blends a foot tapping beat with Mavis ‘Swan’ Poole’s languid, soaring vocals. ‘The Way I See’ has a more modern feel – kind of organic in feel with some sweet jazz touches weaving in and out, ‘So What’ is a killer, percussive, funk edged mid tempo dancer while ‘We Fantasy’ is a lazy, laid back chilled groove with touches of Macy Gray, maybe. Brief and slightly left-field in places but worth exploring
