Debut album from the prolific S.O.S Band which went gold upon release and rightly so, the set is a strong blend of funky boogie with lots of tight horn arrangements mixed with some decent mid tempo numbers. Highlights are the title track ‘S.O.S’, the female led ‘Love Won’t Wait For Love’, the big production, swaggering hit ‘Take Your Time’ and the brilliant dancer ‘Take Love Where You Find It’. Good stuff from 1980.
