30 track focus on Irma Thomas’ complete Minit, Ron and Bandy releases as well as a selection of remastered demos on Disc 1, ‘Soul Queen Of New Orleans’ will please fans of Irma’s earlier works in particular. R&B hits like ‘Don’t Mess With My Man’, ‘I Got Done Over’, ‘I Did My Part’ and ‘Somebody Told You’. Disc 2 features the 1976 live performance recorded at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and includes many of the New Orleans classics featuered on Disc 1 of this set, along with covers of contemporary disco hits ‘Lady Marmalade’ and ‘Shame, Shame, Shame’.
