Soul Talk comprise singer Gary Poole, keys man Toby Baker and Ernie McKone on drums. This pleasing album has a 70’s feel with full horns and strong vocals. There is more than a hint of Tower Of Power in places. There is a mid 70’s vibe too check opener ‘It’s Your Life’. ‘Really Don’t Mind’ has an infectious hook, whilst the slower paced ‘Loving You’ is another fine track. The ToP flavour is most prominent on ‘Keep On Moving’ and ‘Free’ is a strong song. Good production for an independent release. Inlcuded in this new edition is the cool Million remix of ‘really Don’t mind’.
