Previously Unreleased album ‘Stash’ recorded in 1976 by seminal Funk band Rasputin’s Stash. Influential recordings from previously released Rasputin’s Stash albums have been sampled by Beck, The Chemical Brothers, Jim Jones, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Leaders Of The New School. The lazy ‘Strokin’ and the languid ‘Tarantua’ share the same hazy vibe, the percussive ‘Children Of The Lord’ sounds like a free jam session while the punchy ‘Time’ bears the hallmarks of a Temptations ‘Ball Of Confusion’ influence. ‘Cool When You Don’t Know It’ almost touches on P-Funk while the crushing beat ballad ‘You Are My Everything’ shows a more soulful side to the band.
