The Three Degrees make their first studio album in twenty five years. They have recorded a tribute to the glory years of Philadelphia with a full studio band and Orchestra, featuring their takes on nine Philly classics. ‘Don’t Leave me this way’ and ‘Ain’t No Stopping us now’ are good covers of these evergreen dance floor classics. ‘Strategy’ is an interesting take on the Archie Bell funky Philly cut. ‘Me and Mrs Jones’ and ‘If you don’t know me by now’ are great ballads although their voices can’t compare to Teddy P and Billy Paul
