Interesting album that appears to be the only thing this infamous tax-scam imprint that ran for a couple of year from 1977. The output on the Hollywood based imprint was huge and the scope of styles was broad. This soul/disco/funk set has become sought after – the opening track ‘Satisifed Sity’ is a wiry, cosmic jazzy funker, the flute led ‘Living It Up’ is the best track on the album and includes a great open break two thirds through, ‘Holding On’ is a busy, bustling jazzy disco effort. The poppy disco ‘The Search Goes On’ closes out this curious album that sounds like the result of gang of session musicians hoping onto some free studio time to put out a bunch of ideas.
