Former Steely Dan singer Donald Fagen has produced a very slinky subtly funky album in ‘Sunken Condos’, which has all the hallmarks of their work. ‘Slinky Thing’ and ‘Good Stuff’ are funky mid tempo grooves, whilst the more jazzier uptempo ‘I’m Not The Same Without You’ and ‘Miss Marlene’ and the cover of Isaac Hayes’ Out Of The Ghetto’ will keep your feet tapping. Good album.
