The beat ballad ‘Until We Meet Again’ allows singer Elsa Bekman’s sandpaper vocals to shine, ‘Armada’ is a great, sultry groover while ‘The Story Goes’ a light, airy northern soul style dancer. ‘Cussin, Cryin & Carryin’ On’ is a brassy funk dancefloor number while ‘Washed My Hands’ carries The Tibbs’ trademark R&B/Big City Soul sound. Good debut LP.
