Chaka Khan delivers a killer version of Sinatra’s ballad ‘I’m a Fool to Want you’, her voice back to its best. Valarie Simpson sings a beautiful sensual version of her own ‘Somebody told a lie’. Nancy Wilson’s sophisticated harmonies grace a Carrington original ‘Imagine This’, and Ledisi unique jazzy soul voice lifts ‘Get to know you’. Chante Moore sings the mid tempo stepper ‘Best of the best’, and Lalah Hathaway on ‘This too will pass’ another highlight. Natalie Cole, Oleta Adams, Jaguar Wright also feature on this superb laid back Jazzy Soul album. Quality throughout.
