Darrow Fletcher hit the charts with ‘The pain gets a little deeper’ in 1966 when he was 14. This CD covers his complete recordings from 1965-71 and includes the Northern soul dancers ‘What Good Am I Without You’, ‘Changing by the minute’, ‘My Young Misery’, ‘Gotta Draw the line’. The later 60’s sides are funkier soul like ‘Gonna Keep on loving you’ , ‘I Like the way you feel’ and ‘Now is the time for love’. The ballads ‘My Judgement Day’ and ‘When Love calls’ are also strong. Great compilation and accompaniment to his 70’s sides on the Crossover sessions CD released last year.
