Very varied album from Richmond Virginia artist Sam Reed. The spoken word intro track ‘I’ll go’ sets the mood for the album. Sam hits the spot with the lovely Neo-Soul mid tempo ‘Those Words’ which has a great vibe. ‘True Value’ is another strong track with instrumentation.. ‘Positude’ is a laid back track that gives Sam the chance to stretch her voice. There is a rawness to some of the other tracks.
