Originally released on the tiny baby Grand label in 1977, this rare six-track soul/disco album has long been coveted by collectors and is finally available on a more affordable issue. Bubbling percussion, soaring harmonies and tight rhythms combine to create an uplifting groove on the soulful ‘Better Than Walking Out’, ‘Loving You Is So Easy’ is a fine mid tempo effort that has echoes of the Three Degrees, the sparkling ‘Our Love Is So Special’ is a mellow edged soul number while the funk effort ‘Woman’ has a drama filled, intense atmosphere that is ripe for club play.
