Steve Khan enjoyed a great reputation as a session guitarist. His debut album ‘Tightrope’ includes a nice Jazz take on the O’Jays’ ‘Darlin Darlin Baby’. The album was released on Bob James’ Tappan Zee and includes several good Fusion tracks such as ‘Tightrope’, ‘The Big Ones’ and slightly Latin flavoured ‘When Shadows Meet’. ‘The Blue Man’ and ‘Arrows’ are less strong but still have moments like ‘Saily Bulls’, ‘Some Down Time’, The Little Ones’ and ‘City Suite’.
