Excellent Hard Bop album in a tribute to the 60’s Blue Note sound from 6 piece Italian band led by pianist Luca Mannutza aided by Max Ionato and Paolo Recchia on saxes. Kenny Dorham’s ‘Short Story’ and Shorter’s ‘On the Ginza’ really swing, and Shorter’s ‘Sweet n Sour’ , ‘The Big Push’ and Chick Corea’s ‘Litha’ are also really good. Brilliant musicians and great sound.
