From 1983, ‘Urban Dance Floor Guerillas’ is the only album that George Clinton recorded under the name the P Funk All Stars. It has all the p Funk zaniness, but as it is from ’83, the sound I stripped down with no horns etc. Check the single ‘Hydraulic Pump’ and grooves like ‘Pumpin It Up’ and ‘Generator Pop’. The Bootsy inspired ‘Copy Cat’ is also worth a listen too.
