Percussive street funk from a prolific group who would produce over 12 albums in just ten years, with this being recorded in 1977 for Arista. Standout cuts are the bustling ‘Can You Get It’, the proto-disco groove of ‘Funky Monkey’ complete with African undercurrents and the mellow, spaced-out ‘Holiday’. ‘Love One Another’ shows the wide ranging spread of influences the band would embrace, having a heavy, funky reggae feel. Good, varied album.
