1983 album from this talented family outfit, James Ingram was the main writer on this set and gave us a good mix of tough funk and soulful dancers. The title track ‘Would You To Fly’ is an infectious mid tempo dancer with a wicked groove, ‘DJ’s Delight’ was a popular spin at time and shows the hallmarks of the early 80s sound while the sparkling ‘No One’ has EWF touches and is one of the highlights. ‘Smoothin’ Groovin’ is a taut boogie effort worthy of its name, the percussive ‘We Like To Do It’ is a great call to the floor dancer while their anthemic Latinesque-funker ‘Mi Sabrina Tequana (My Sister’s Daughter)’ that was originally on their previous album is included here as a bonus track.
