Cornell CC Carter returns with another strong independent Soul album ‘Next Life’ . The fabulous Daptone Super Soul revue album is now out on CD, Bad bad Not Good have a good new album ft Brandee Younger, Terrance martin and many others, and there are new albums from Herb Alpert and Jam & lewis. Norah Jones has a Christmas album and there is another classic James Brown album ‘Hot Pants’ released on CD. There are some good Jazz Vinyl reissues this week two Horace Tapscott Nimbus albums on Pure Pleasure,  Yusef Lateef great ‘Blue Lateef’ is back on stock, Freddie Hubbard soul -jazz classic ‘Backlash’, and Weather Report’s funkiest album ‘Sweet Nighter’ on coloured vinyl plus the Floating points/Pharoah Sanders ‘Promises 180gm Lp is back in stock. There are also some nice soul reissues and a couple of 45’s on Izipho Soul.

Pre-order for the delayed Pieces of a Dream, Theo Croker lp, Mingus Acoustic sounds audiophile vinyl and our own 30th anniversary edition ‘Wants List 5’ CD (LP delayed until 2022) all now due on 29th October.see all pre-order titles here.
Tomorrow 16th October is National Album Day , and Soul Brother Records will be participating.
We welcome as many of you to the store or on-line to see all the wonderful albums we have on offer on CD and LP. There are some exclusive vinyl editions of female artist albums for the day which are in fact still arriving, so we will publish the list tomorrow morning. We will also have our own recommended list.
