Betty Everett recorded this fantastic slice of lower mid tempo soul ‘ Wondering’ for the Fantasy label in 1974. This beat ballad with a kick has gained popularity on the rare groove 2-step scene and is a wonderful song writtten by Johnny Guitar Watson , with arrangements by David Axelrod , both these giants co-producing the track. Betty’s vocals are exquist throughout. The flip side is another piece of shuffling orchestrated soul . Original copies were mainly pressed on sytrene have sold for over £200. Limited edition full centre pressing , now long out of print, grab your copy now whilst they last.
