Warehouse Find | China Burton – You Don’t Care (About Our Love)

Warehouse find China Burton only made one record, this underground disco /rare groove track 'You Don't Care (About Our Love) in 1979 for the UK Logo label. It has an infectious groove and superb production from Adam Sieff reminiscent of Rose Royce at the time. The original record is very hard to find now and sells for £250. This remastered 12" was released for RSD 2024 on the Soul Brother label and has been out of print for sometime, a few copies have been found at the back of the shop. Warehouse find on the soul brother label First time on CD for this rare 1969 album augmented by six non album singles to give the complete James brown productions of Hank. The funkier album tracks ‘How You Gonna Get Respect’ , ‘With Your Sweet Lovin Self’, ‘Unwind Yourself’ , ‘Come on Wit It’ and ‘Funky Soul Train are typical JB late 60’s grooves backed by The Dapps. Another warehouse find - the first-ever official vinyl reissue (from RSD 2019) of Ziad Rahbani’s mythical Lebanese Disco 12″ “Abu Ali” originally issued in Lebanon in 1978. An ultra-rare and highly collectible album praised by diggers and DJs all over the world (copies exchange hands for £600), reissue by Wewantsounds with its original artwork and RSD limited edition yellow coloured vinyl, with audio remastered by Colorsound Studio in Paris. Warehouse Find | Jean Plum / Larry T-Byrd Gordon – Here I Go Again / Contact Off Funk

Jean Plum only recorded a few records for the Hi label in the mid to late 70's. 'Here I Go Again' is her classic modern soul track and is very hard to find in its original release or even reissues now. We have just found a very small quantity of this Japanese RSD release from 2025 in the back of the shop. Backed with the funky Larry T-Byrd Gordon 'Contact Off Funk' .
