Bluey from Incognito, records his most personal album to date ‘Skint’ reflecting his life in music and his struggles with his medical condition. ‘Skint’ features 13 new songs including the fabulous ‘All My Favourite Things’ a typically Bluey uplifting mid tempo soul groover. ‘Show Me’ is a little jazzier vocal track also featuring his guitar playing. ‘It Ain’t Worth It’ and ‘Best Of Me’ are also good mid tempo songs. The upbeat ‘Skint’ has a mid 80’s influence. ‘Because Of You’ and ‘Life Is A Dance’ are also good up tempo tracks. Francis Plays The Bass’ is an up tempo jazzy dancer with a strong b line. Nice album from a UK Soul/Jazz-Funk legend.
