Stuart Wade has masterminded and produced Down To The Bone since 1995. At one time they were one of the biggest Smooth Jazz radio in USA, but their music has always had more of a groove to it, than smooth.
After a twelve year wait, they finally release a new album ‘This Way Forward’ comprising nine new funky jazz grooves featuring great musicianship from a stella cast of band members and associates including Neil Angilley on keys, Jo Philpotts and Julian Crampton on bass, numerous horn players. Hil St Soul co-wrote and sings on ‘Get Up And Dance’ a nice up-tempo breezy number. Our good friend Natasha Watts adds her magic touch to several tracks including ‘Sending You Love’, ‘Shining’ and ‘Ellas Grove’. Guida De Palma also vocalises on the flue led ‘Bird Of Paradise’ and ‘You See Me’. Really nice album that will keep you moving all the way.
