New Releases and Pre Orders | Friday 13th August 2021

Our favourite contemporary Jazz Harpist ; Brandee Younger makes her major label debut on the legendary Impulse! label with ‘Somewhere Different’ which includes many great players including Ron Carter on Bass and Maurice Brown on Trumpet, Cd available now, pre-order Lp for 27th August. Binker Golding has a limited edition vinyl LP ‘Moon Day’.  There are some really good jazz reissues on Vinyl including Haki Madhubuti and Nation ‘Medasi’ a rare Spiritual jazz album including the track ‘Children’ which appeared on our ‘African Spirits’ compilation.  There is also the latest in the Blue Note Tone Poet series from McCoy Tyner, plus Pharoah Sanders live at the East. Corinne Bailey Rae’s debut album gets a welcome vinyl reissue. We are back in stock of a few titles including Cymande ‘Second time around’ LP.

Pre-order for next week for a brand new 12″ from the Uk Soul band Paradise, plus the latest in the Blue Note classic series from Kenny Burrell and Grant Green and vinyl represses of Floating Points and Pharoah Sanders, and for the 27th August Soul on the Real side vol 12 cd.
