There are some interesting reissues this week. ‘The Magic Of The Majestic Arrows’ is one of the rarest Chicago Soul group soul albums from 1973 and it finally gets a reissue on black or blue vinyl. Record Player ‘Free Your Mind’ is an unreleased funky disco and boogie album from Dayton Ohio recorded 1977-78. Sunfire’s 1982 album produced by Reggie Lucas gets a coloured vinyl reissue. Horace Silver classic Tokyo Blues and Jackie McLean’s ‘Jacknife’ are the latest Blue Note Tone Poet releases and Cal Tjader ‘Amazonas’ an analogue release on Craft. Lettuce have a very limited edition 12″ And there is a Fatback Band remix as well. We are also back in stock of many great titles on vinyl, some we haven’t seen in a while. Cymande made 3 classic albums in the early to mid 70s now available again on CD, plus Herbie Hancock ‘Crossings’ and a 3CD collection of Rick James.

A couple of weeks ago we put up a good batch 70s and 80s soul 45s which you can view here. This adds to the list of 60s soul 45s which you can see here if you missed, and we also added to our series of 12″ singles with part 15. We featured the first batch of 25 Original Vinyl Soul LPs from a large new collection that we will be purchasing over the next year, there are some great hard to find albums; quite a few sold out immediately and we have added a few where there were second copies to the list.
