It is an incredible week for new releases , by far the best so far this year, something for everybody here. Durand Jones and the Indications have made a really good retro soul album in the style of Daptone or DeRobert, we have copies of the limited edition coloured vinyl now with CDs in early next week (probably Monday). Makaya McCraven has another soon to be rarity New Jazz album recorded in Chicago and London on Cd and limited LP. Norman Brown and Keiko Matsui have good Smooth Jazz albums out on Shanachie, and there is a new Brandford Marsalis Quartet album.
