New arrivals: Collector’s 12″ singles

Check out these 40 Original 12" singles that have just arrived.  There are some really hard to find titles here and most of them are in great condition. Check out these original 70's Soul and Funk 45's which are in amazing hardly played condition in original sleeves. Nothing ultra rare just good records in great condition at reasonable prices. We are delighted to announce that Soul Brother Records will be issuing four very special limited edition Vinyl releases for Record Store Day Saturday 18th April 2015. These records will only be available on Record Store Day at Soul Brother records shop in Putney and other registered RSD stores. Japanese Jazz reissues

Check out these Japanese Jazz reissue CD's which have just arrived along with a few titles that are now back in stock. Most of these titles were originally released on the East Wind and Electric Bird labels in Japan in the late 70's to mid 80's. There are some really good lesser known albums here , the pick of which is the Hubert Eaves Esoteric Funk really good Funky Jazz Fusion. Recommended new releases – 6th March 2015

New releases What a great week for releases not only in quantity but the quality is very high this week. Atlanta soul singer Rhonda Thomas has made what i believe will be one of the Soul albums of the year in 'Vinyl Daze', amazing album. There are also really strong albums from Kenya, Tristan and Carmen Rodgers. D'Angelo Black Messiah comes out of vinyl at last. There are good jazz albums from Bill Dickens, Fresh cut Orchestra, Marc Cary and Joey Sommerville, and a couple of Soulful house gems from Papa records and DJ Spinna.
