'Iron Leg' is an organ and bass led funky groove backed with heavy horns which has been very popular since the 'Deep Funk' evolved in the mid 1990's. Debra Anderson (later to be a member of Stargard) recorded this great modern soul dancer ‘Funny How We Changed Places’ for the Musicor label in 1974. It is a lovely bouncy floater with lush arrangments from Gene Page and production from the writer Paul Vance backed by nice instrumentation.
