What a Great week for new releases. Will Downing finally releases his first independent album 'Silver' which features some of the tracks from his 3 EP's plus some new tracks. Kat Webb has made a nice independent soul album and Tatiana Lady May Mayfield bridges Soul and jazz on her excellent album. Johnny Conga has made a great contemporary Latin jazz album. There are two excellent jazz albums this week. Firstly from Detroit/|Tribe trombonist Phil Ranelin who has made a great contemporary Spiritual Jazz album very much in the style of his classics from the 70's.
