George Duke returns with his best album in a decade or more with 'Dreamweaver' which includes one of the last tracks that Teena Marie recorded. Its a good week for smooth jazz with albums from Andrew Neu amongst others, and left field soul with Deborah Bond backing singer Kenny Wesley and Mayer Hawthorne. These beautifully crafted deep Spiritual Jazz albums display a music which has a serene quality to touch and uplift your spirits. The Black Jazz and Strata labels from the 70's and Nimbus West from the early 80's released Jazz records of an incredible standard which have been remastered and reissued on CD.
