This weeks album of the week from Guida De Palma with Jazzinho will bring a ray of sunshine into your lives. It is a beautiful Brazilian Jazz/Soul album and the duet with Leon Ware is a timeless future classic. There are also good Smooth Jazz sets from Najee and Oli Silk and Soulful House from At Jazz.
The reissues are quite special this week with an unreleased album from 80’s icons Aurra, and 3 great albums comprising of unreleased Funky Jazz and Soul recorded in the Bay Area in the 70’s under the title of HE3 Project which feature Linda Tillery on vocals and many great musicians. Also check out the mega rare Burton Inc album for some good late 70’s soul and Dunn And Bruce Street for good early 80’s Soul.
For vinyl collectors/DJ’s there is a very unusual 12″ produced by Amp Fiddler featuring Detroit ladies Dames Brown and a nice soulful house 12″ from Frankie Knuckles.
