The Invitations recorded thieir classsic Philly Soul mid tempo dancer ‘Look On The Good Side’ for the Silver Blue label in 1974 produced by Bobby Martin. Lew Kirton takes lead vocal over a typically Philly groove. The record was a popular dancer at the time , and it retains its popularity to this day , original copies whilst not super rare are hard to find. ‘They Say The Girl’s Crazy’ is slightly sdlower but is a nice catchy 2 step style groove. Two good tracks from an under rated group. We found a few limited edition full centre DJ copies at the back of the shop, grab your copy whilst you can.
