Get On the Good Foot is the 34th studio album by James Brown and was released as a double LP on November 20, 1972. the title track is a funk classic, as is the timeless ‘My Part – Make It Funky’. ‘Cold Sweat’ is revisited for the 70s, the pacey ‘ ‘I Got A Bag Of My Own’ is a standout while he updates the side he wrote for Marva Whitney to superb effect on the killer crossover ‘Your Love Was Good For Me’.
