Mica Millar also has a strong second album ‘ A Little Bit Of Me’. BBE releases the fifth volume of their highly popular J-Jazz series highlighting obscure Japanese Jazz from the 70s and 80s. Roy Ayers’ classic and brilliant album ‘Red Black and Green’ gets a welcome reissue. Bobby Hutcherson superb ‘Components’ is the latest in the Blue Note Tone Poet series. Maxwell’s epic debut album ‘Urban Hang Suite’ also gets a welcome reissue., and the Earth Wind & Fire ‘Greatest Hits’ a double LP issue. Donald Byrd ‘Electric Byrd’ also gets a welcome Cdc reissue
We are back in stock of many nice titles.
We are sad to learn of the passing of many of our music greats this week including the amazing Philly artist, musician and producer Dexter Wansel who has left us an amazing legacy of great songs like ‘Life On Mars’, ‘Sweetest Pain’ and ‘Nights Over Egypt’ amongst many others.we have also lost Peabo Bryson, Foster Sylvers and Motown/Commodores producer James Carmichael.
