‘Blacks And Blues’ was flautist Bobbi Humphrey’s first collaboration with the Mizell Brothers. It delivered probably her finest album with cuts like the gritty Funk of ‘Chicago Damn’, the typically Mizell riff laden classic ‘Harlem River Drive’ and the much sampled ‘Jasper Country Man’.
