Bobby Wilson recorded his only album ‘I’ll Be Your Rainbow’ on Buddah in 1975 , in three studios across America. The first four tracks were cut at United in Detroit, arranged by Paul Riser and include the killer two stepper ‘Deeper and Deeper’ , Northern/Modern dancer ‘Let Me Put Love Back’ , nice ballads ‘Hey Girl’ and title track. There are two orchestrated mid tempo ballads including ‘You Make Me Feel Good All Over’ recorded at Sigma Sound in Philly featuring The Jones Girls on backing vocals The remaining tracks were recorded at T.K.Studios Miami including the standout Modern Soul/Stepper ‘Don’t Shut Me Out’ and the dancer ‘All I Need (I’ve Got). Overall this is a strong mid 70s soul album.
