I would like to wish all our customers and friends a very happy new year, and to thank you for your continued support throughout the year. 2014 was a good year for our music, there were a lot of good Soul and Jazz albums and an encouraging sign of records with well written songs and real instrumentation Reissues can by the bucket load but there were some cracking titles out on CD for the first time. We also saw a trend towards Vinyl releases with lots of good 45 titles and reissue LP’s. You can view our see our selection of the best of the year here.
Sadly 2014 saw the passing of many of our musics greats including the legend Bobby Womack, Horace Silver, Joe Sample, Idris Muhammad, Yusef Lateef, Blue Lovett of the Manhattans, Ronny Jordan and the great producer Don Davis. They may have passed on , but their musical legacy will live with us forever.
