Soul Junction records have turned up trumps again with a superb unissued album from Elbowed Out featuring recordings made in the late 70’s to late 80’s. Undisputed Truth’s two Whitfield albums make a welcome return on a 2 on 1 CD. OddJob give us some Scandinavian Jazz, and Gregory Porter’s Liquid Spirit has a another repackage with extra tracks.

Vic Lavender’s excellent ‘Architect’ CD our Soulful and Jazzy house album of the year is now back in stock as is Diane Shaw’s excellent ‘Love Life and Strings CD.

New 45s arrivals

There are a couple of really good 45’s this week Sundae Soul score with a great Double A side 70’s Modern Soul from Windy City Orchestra and Lorraine Rudolph, and Betty LaVette ‘s hard to find ‘You Make A Believer in me is coupled with Ujima ‘I’m Not Ready’ on Outta Sight, and Otis Redding’s 1965 French EP is reissued in a pic sleeve.

The Scene Club LP advised a couple of weeks back is now in stock, and by popular demand we have increased our Blues LP range with some more classic albums on 180gm pressings.

In store lookback
