There are some good releases this week. Mike City is a well known producer and his album of mainly uptempo soul/soulful house features many good contemporary vocalists incl Dwele, Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, Maysa and Lalah Hathaway amongst many others. This title is likely to be in limited supply so please order early to avoid disappointment.
Joey Negro also has an album, of his productions ‘Produced with love’ which also features some remixes of classic tracks.
Yet another producer Simon Law has an album this week ‘Look To The Sky’ ft wife Joanna law, Caron Wheeler, Chante Moore and maxi Priest amongst others.
Uk artist Shaila Prospere has a strong Soul/R&B album and the Brazilian band Nomade Orquestra return with a new album.
Tahirah memory and Jarrod Lawson
Tahirah memory and Jarrod Lawson visited the shop in the week and dropped off a qty of their numbered limited edition Intermission vinyl EP signed by both artists. We also have a very limited number of signed copies of Tahirah’s ‘Pride’ CD available here
These guys make great music, their gig in the kings road monday night was exceptional. You can see some pictures of them in store here.
There are many CD reissues this week including some from Ace, and Funky Town Grooves. Also some good Compilations on Vinyl featuring the Dore, West End and Salsoul labels.
Dianne Shaw has a new single out on 45 and her classic album ‘Love Life and Strings is back in stock on CD. Watch out for a new album from her later in the year.
Josh Milan 6.9.69 CD is back in stock at the moment although we are likely to run out in the near future, so if you haven’t order your copy yet please do so asap to avoid disappointment.
