New releases and pre-order 29th November 2019

Greg Foat has produced possibly his best album to date ‘The Dreaming Jewels’ which has a fuller sound than most of his albums, it is well worth checking out. The Lp is in now, Cd is next week.

Donna McGhee’s classic album ‘make it last forever is available again on Cd and LP, This is one of the finest late 70’s Disco/Soul albums ever recorded and an essential for any collection.Samuel Jonathan Johnson’s rare groove classic ‘My Music’ gets a welcome vinyl reissue. Ace have a nice compilation ‘Everything’s gonna be alright’ on CD arriving on Monday.
Jazzman’s great spiritual Jazz series has it’s 10th Volume released focusing on the Prestige label, great music ! The Lp is in now, Cd next week. Fela Kuti and Roy Ayers classic Afro beat album is available again on LP, plus there are some great Freddie Hubbard, Miles and Airto reissue albums.
There are some good 45’s with Halo’s modern soul ‘Let me do it’ on regular and limited DJ copy versions on Expansion.. Richard Marks rare funky soul ‘never satisfied’ has a very limited edition run on AOE.
Today is Black Friday and there a lot of very interesting Limited edition RSD vinyl albums and singles released for the day. Highlights include Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis, JB’s (first recordings with Bootsy Collins) , Aretha Franklin, Bill Evans, Comet in Coming, Unreleased Motown comp and Nas , but you can see the full list here and watch the video here. These titles are only available in store today and on-line mail order from tomorrow morning.


Pre-order for December for the first two great 12″ singles in our new series of early underground Disco/Soul classics (watch the video here) and Gangstar on vinyl due next week.
