New releases and pre-orders – 11th March 2016

Louie Vega starring XXVIII is arriving on Monday 14th March order now to secure what is surely one of the best albums of the year.It  briliantly encapsulates Uptempo Soul, Soulful House and Jazzy grooves with a feeling good factor.  Andrew Roachford has a new album of interesting covers including a great version of ‘Sly’s Family Affair’, and a new name to us Dakhla have an interesting slightly left-field Jazz album. There is also a Lamar Kendrick mini album which has a jazzy backdrop.

There is a good Spinners 2 albums on 1 CD on Expansion, and a great 180gm vinyl pressing of the O’Jays classic ‘Back stabbers’ album. There’s also a good reissue 45 from Lanier on the Street Soul label.
