There are new albums from Chaka Khan and India Arie this week providing us pretty much with the first new Soul albums of the year, plus Anderson Paak is now out on Vinyl. The Fabulous Split Decision band album is now in on CD and back in on LP, don’t miss this unreleased gem. The other three Bubbha Thomas and The Lightmen albums are also in on CD, great rare jazz from the early 70’s.

Elvin Jones and Jimmy Garrison Impulse album ‘Illuminations’ gets a welcome 180gm re-issue and check the other vinyl issues including a great soul comp ‘Loving on the flipside’. There are also some good Reggae album reissues.

Nice 45’s from Jack Jacobs, Stephen Michael Swartz, Diplomats of soul , Bobby Oroza and Jukka Escola and a good rare 12″ from Shahid Wheeler.

We loaded another 40 great Original Vinyl Soul albums this week from the fantastic collection that we have been buying. This list features Females Soul singers and Groups, also check last weeks list of Motown Group albums. Watch out for more next week plus the first batch of 45’s which includes some really hard to find titles. We now have all the 1500 Soul LP’s and 500+ 45’s at the store and both Johnny and I cannot remember seeing such a big collection where virtually all the albums are in near Mint or Ex condition. Some will be on display in the store over the weekend, so come down and have a browse and bring your wants lists with you !
