Bryony Jarman-Pinto is a new name to us but a nice discovery , a London based young Soul singer whose album ‘Cage and Avairy’ on Tru Thoughts is well worth checking out. Daptone’s excellent compilation of Timmion label New Soul is now available on Vinyl .
Cold Mink and Diamond who are the Timmion house band release an instrumental version of Carlton Jumel Smith’s album Here today gone tomorrow is on LP. Dave Mascall has been picking up a lot of radio airplay on his ‘Acid Lounge Vol 5 CD. Change have a great doubler A side 12″ on Expansion featuring Joey Negro and Opolopo mixes of tracks from their recent album.
There are some good Vinyl reissues of classic Soul, Jazz and reggae albums.
