Get on board the Soul Train is the first volume of the limited edition 50th Anniversary box sets from the Philadelphia International label featuring eight early albums from the label on remastered Cds plus a bonus 12″ single and book about the label. Adrian Younge ‘American Negro’ album is now out on double vinyl and new London Jazz is represented by Kiwi drummer Myele Manzana ft Ashley Henry, Mark Declive Lowe and more. Pharoah Sanders’ magnificent ‘Rejoice’  double LP is reissued in Pure Pleasure’s analogue Theresa label series. P.P also have three albums from the Nimbus label this week with Nate Morgan brilliant Journey into Nigritia, Creative Arts Ensemble and Horace Tapscott releases. Oneness of Juju funky ‘Make a change’ is out on CD and LP and Marcus Valle 1981 album ft ‘Estrella’ is out with three different vinyl options as well as CD.

The Impulse label is 60 years old and there is a good 2CD/4LP compilation featuring some interesting tracks from the label.
Studio One have a very limited edition compilation ‘Pirates Choice vol 2’ amongst the reggae reissues and there are two good 45’s from Joe Bataan and Darrell Banks.
The Blue Note Reimagined album is finally back in on vinyl, as is the long awaited second pressing of the New York Disco Orchestra’s album Reverie. Back in stock in limited quantity, order early to avoid disappointment
