New Releases and Pre Orders | Friday, 24th

One of the finest contemporary Soul male vocalists Anthony Hamilton returns with his first album in a few years, we have missed his rich tones. Trumpeter  Theo Croker has a new album, which like the Hamilton set, reflects on our music’s great history. Web Web & Max Here have a very nice contemporary spiritual Jazz album and Al Green’s hits are given an orchestral backing. Kent have a superb new compilation ‘Can I Be A Witness’  featuring many previously unreleased and rare tracks from the Stax vaults.

There are two new Audiophile quality Blue Note reissues from Herbie Hancock and Eric Dolphy in their classic series. Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble rare jazz dance album ‘Le Le’ gets a welcome reissue on Paul Murphy’s Jazz room Label. Z records have a new volume of their Under The Influence series Vol 9 compiled by Alena Arpels featuring mainly unknown Funk and Disco Cuts, TK Disco have a compilation of lesser known gems and the rarest Salsoul album Netwerk ‘I Need You’ gets a ressiue on both formats.
