Kim Tibbs debut ‘Kim’  has been generating a lot of interest and is a very unusual album with the first half great contemporary Soul and second half real retro soul/Blue where Kim plays the organ and sings, an interestingly different album.

The Soul grenades have a nice retro Funk/Soul album on Cd and LP and another newcomer Decosta Boyce gives us his spin on Electrik Soul.

There are two good New jazz albums on Highnote from Russell Malone and Cyrus Chestnut.

On the Reissue Cd’s D’angelo’s 90’s classic ‘Brown Sugar’ for many the album that gave birth to the Neo soul movement has a new 2CD Deluxe Edition.

My first desire records follow up the great harry becket release from last year with another unreleased 70’s BBC session from Dave Gold Big Band, great funky brassy big band jazz. Stevie Wonder’s classic ‘Songs in the key of life gets a welcome vinyl reissue.

Joey Negro’s remixed with love RSD release ‘Circles’ 12″ is finally available, a must have.  Also on 12″ Melodies int have the rare Maurice Moore and the Family Band.Expansion have a couple of reissue 45’s from Spyder Turner and Mystique, plus the dareel Bank classic 45 is back in stock for a short while.
